If you're ever lucky enough
to cruise the FL Keys, don't
pass by the Carribean Club
at MM 104 in Key Largo. 
It's legendary.  Nothing fancy
here -- just the ultimate beachfront biker bar.   It's
basically unchanged since
the '40s, when Bogey and Baccall made the classic
Key Largo at this very bar.
Over 50 years later (in '97)
Jack Nicholson came here
to film Blood and Wine.  
It's seen many hurricanes.
and many wild times of
other kinds.

When the Harley shifter fell off
one night and we were 1,000
miles from home, our bad luck turned to good luck when we found Jiri Klapil, a helpful and creative  bike mechanic who towed us in (at night), welded up a Harley shifter from Honda spare parts, and got us back back on the road -- all for $50 bucks.

Now that's a TRUE brother
of the road!
