FUTURO
HOME DELIVERY

Futuro flying saucer homes
were created by Finnish archi-
tect Matti Suuronen during the
1960s. The first one was
made in 1968 in Helsinki,
Finland. The Futuro house
was light and portable.

Less than 100 Futuro houses
are said to exist (about 20 in
the US).   Constructed of
fiberglass-reinforced plastic,
they are lightweight and quite
portable. They are now col-
lector's items.

Startlingly modern from the
ground... But this 1.6 million
dollar home looks like a toilet
from the air. (See below)

Architect Sim Jae-Duck built
this house for himself near
Seoul, Korea . He said he's
always felt an affinity for toilets
because his mother purposely  gave birth to him in a bathroom.

Why?  Because Jae-Duck's
family has a long-held belief
that  bathroom births lead to
long, healthy lives
.
