Biker dogs and biker birds
These pets enjoy the fun of riding motorcycles and going to biker events



Meet Diesel.  This German Shepherd
travels across country in style. He's got a
cooler by his side, his own custom trailer,
and he's towed by a Harley. Life is good!




Diesel and his owner, Scott, on a water

Diesel, Scott and Francis were on their
way from Indiana to Daytona.  We caught them here in Big Pine, FL, Oct. 11, 2006.

Diesel stays on board while Scott and
Francis go in a store or restaurant. We suspect there's never a problem with
people messing with the trailer or bike.

Goggles on his eyes, legs slightly spread,
Diesel braces as they take off. The last we
saw of him he was standing tall, barking
proudly as the the three of them disap-
peared down the Overseas Highway.

Jules' Undersea Lodge in
Key Largo, FL. is just off
the dock in this lagoon.

Iggy, a wild but long-term
resident iguana, came out to
greet as we arrived.  He's a
wild iguana that wandered in
years ago -- and stayed.

We didn't know if he viewed
us as friend, foe or food, so
when he blocked our way,
we went no farther.
(Turns out he eats only
hibiscus leaves & blooms)

Key West is party central for
chickens, too. You might
expect to see parrots in Key
West, but chickens?.

They run loose all over town,
but their favorite hangout
seems to be the waterfront
bars  where you see them
every evening - mornings
and afternoons too.



They're said to be descend-
ed from fighting cocks
brought here 100 years ago

Owners of some restaurants
use fly swatters in a vain
attempt to make them move on.
