54-year-old Dale Walksler, a "retired" Harley dealer from Illinois, is the museum founder, and curator. His love affair with bikes began 40 years ago at the age of 15, when he built his first "bike"

a trike chopper.
Wheels Through Time museum opened in 2002, It's in a huge 38,000 sq. ft. building on 42 acres in the Smokies in Maggie Valley, NC. It's open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm -- until about Nov.15th '08.
